Data Desk Student 6-Month Rental
Data Desk is easy to learn and easy to use - almost entirely point, click, and drag on a desktop. You can copy and paste data from spreadsheets and read the data files that may have been provided with your text books in *.txt or *.csv format. Any plot or statistics result can be copied and pasted into a word processor as part of your homework or in a report.
In short, it's the ideal tool to support you as you learn statistics. The student version can do everything you need for almost any introductory statistics course, and includes a full multiple regression and one- and two-way ANOVA to support most second-term courses as well. In addition, because Data Desk graphs are dynamically connected to each other and to your data, it is easy to visualize what you are doing, which helps your understanding. You can even rotate a 3-D plot of three variables.
Each Data Desk plot and analysis window has a drop-down menu that offers related displays and analyses. And - especially for students - the top command in each menu is a link to a background explanation of what is in that window, how to understand it, and how to use it.
The student version of Data Desk can be licensed for 6 months for $29.99. It can work with data files of any size, but can only save a workspace with 50 or fewer variables and 1000 or fewer cases.
- Data Desk Student for MAC runs on Mac OS 10.6 through 10.11.
- Data Desk Student for WINDOWS runs on Win7, Win8 and Win10.
